Barb Fails, Land Policy Institute
Dr. Barbara Fails is the Director of Rural Entrepreneurship at MSU and Associate Director of Entrepreneurial Communities at the Land Policy Institute. Dr. Fails leads the Creating Entrepreneurial Communities program, through the MSU Extension Economic Development area of expertise team. She is also developing a community-based Michigan economic gardening model, in partnership with the Michigan Library Association and the MSU Business Library. Barb teaches entrepreneurship and chairs EnGen, a five-university Mid-Michigan consortium for entrepreneurship education.
